Dr. Cindy S. Matteson, OD

Cindy graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She received her doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr Matteson is an InfantSEE Doctor and a member of the American Optometric Association. She is married to Dr. Most and they have three children. She volunteers much of her spare time with Union City American Little League.

Dr. Joseph F. Most, OD

Dr. Most graduated from Boston University and received his doctorate from The Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Matteson and Most opened the practice on University Ave in 1983. They have three children. Joe loves to play tennis and ski in his free time. He volunteers for "Meals on Wheels".

Mr. Michael Peterson, ABOC Optician

Michael was born and raised in the Bay Area. He is a licensed A.B.O. optician and will help you find the best frame and lenses for your prescription. He joined our practice in 2000. Mike is married and has two grown children.

Mr. Stuart Esbit, ABOC Optician

Stuart is a licensed optician who joined our practice in May of 2001. He has been helping people see better for over 20 years by using the most advanced lens technology and latest frame fashions. Stuart was born and raised in So. California where he owned and operated Better Vision and Hearing Aid Center in Pasadena California. He has a son who is attending college and in his spare time he likes to ride his motorcycle with his fiance.

Ms. Jessica Palmyra

Jessica is an optical technician and contact lens trainer. She has been with our practice since 2007. She has a young daughter and is attending San Jose State University, pursuing a degree in Psychology.

Ms. Cindy Morales

Cindy is an optical technician. She joined our practice in 2008 and is pursuing a nursing degree. Cindy is able to speak Spanish fluently.

Mr. Daniel J. Most

Daniel is Dr. Matteson and Dr. Most's oldest son. He works part time in the office as an optician assistant and has a good eye for helping you pick out stylish eyewear. He is a graduate of Norwich University and is a pilot.

Ms. Justine Katindoy

Justine is a optometric technician. She joined our practice in 2009 after completing her bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz and is planning on pursuing a degree in Optometry. Justine has spent time in the Philippines doing volunteer work supporting the health needs of the impoverished population.

Ms. Brittney Jorgensen, ABOC Optician

Brittney is our newest optician. She joined our practice in 2010. She is an A.B.O. licensed optician with over 6 years of experience. Britney got her Degree in Athletic Training from Brigham Young University in Utah and has interests in sports medicine. She is fluent in American Sign Language.
